Top 5 most romantic places in Brooklyn to go on a first date.

Brooklyn is not only the most beautiful, majestic, and historical of the five boroughs, but it's also the most romantic. You don't need to leave Brooklyn to show that special someone a great time. We have the most date friendly spots in New York City. Brooklyn is for lovers. The best way to get a second date (Aside from not being a jerk on the first date) is location location location. Spring is around the corner which means new love will be blossoming along with the trees. So for those Brooklynites who will be going on a first date anytime soon, here are the top 5 places in Brooklyn that would be ideal for a first date.

1. Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory.

The very essence of the first date is to get to know each other better. It's also to see if there is enough chemistry for there to be a second date. So, the opportunity to walk and talk is key. It's also a good idea not to take your date on a million dollar shopping spree for the first date. It may look a little desperate. Instead appreciate the beautiful scenery Brooklyn has to offer by  going to the Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory in Dumbo, Brooklyn. This place has the best ice cream I have ever tasted and it is all natural. It's a great atmosphere to sit down and eat ice cream. Then to walk off your delicious treat you can go outside and enjoy the breathtaking, view of the Brooklyn Bridge. If that's not enough, There is a walk where you can also go have a seat on the steps and just be mesmerized by the view of the Manhattan skyline as you get to know each other better. This is definitely one of the most romantic spots in brooklyn. It's also a great scene for a first kiss (hint hint). Guys If you want a second date, your date will be impressed that you came up with such a simple yet beautiful way to get to know her. Visit their website http://brooklynicecreamfactory.com

2. Walk over the Brooklyn Bridge

A nice walk and talk over the Brooklyn Bridge is definitely a great way to ensure that second date. The Manhattan skyline provides a great backdrop when walking across the bridge. You get to see the manhattan lights and the landscape of brooklyn. The majesty of the Brooklyn Bridge in of itself is romance personified. If you've never walked across the brooklyn bridge you must do it. If it's a first time for both of you (You and your date) then the experience is even better.

3. Coney Island Luna Park

Here's an opportunity to get your date to clinch you closer as you ride the rides at Coney Island Luna Park. Coney Island is an exciting part of brooklyn history. If thats not enough there is the Friday nights Fireworks. Every Friday night from when it opens to Labor Day guest can enjoy a great fireworks show on the boardwalk starting 9:30pm. So start your date early, go and enjoy the games, win her a teddy bear, go on rides, enjoy the food and then take her to see the fireworks as you hold hands. Is that romantic or what? Find out more about what's happening at Luna Park here: http://www.lunaparknyc.com

4. Coney Island beach Boardwalk

Keeping with the theme of the walk and talk, I suggest the Coney Island Boardwalk. It's a nice cool walk because it is by the water and literally a few feet from the sand without having to go down any steps. The boardwalk is full of performers and venders who will definitely make your night exciting without you loosing the chance to talk and get to know each other better. As you walk further away from Coney Island towards Brighton Beach you have the chance to sit down on one of the many long chairs and stair at the moon as you two talk. Not to mention you can take off your shoes and walk down to the beach for a more romantic setting. Want some good advice?, bring a blanket to put in the sand and sit on as you and your date stare at the moonlit ocean. Second date? I think so.

5. Brooklyn Botanical Gardens

This would have to be a day date of course. Have you every been to the Brooklyn Botanical Garden in spring or summer? It will blow your senses away. The smells, the surrounding beauty of flowers will put you and your date in the mood for romance.  You will not believe your eyes. This is by far one of the most romantic settings I have ever been in. As you and your date get to know each other on this walk of beauty, don't forget to stop and smell the roses;) You can find out more about the BBG at their website: http://www.bbg.org

If anyone else has any suggestions on where in Brooklyn one can have a great romantic time, please don't hesitate to post it. If you've had a great time somewhere in Brooklyn and think your fellow Brooklynite would enjoy it too, by all means let us know.
